Customer Review: Worked When Lime Away didn't

Until 3 weeks ago, I did not know our municipal area water had changed from medium to hard water. I'd noticed more problems with water spots in my dishwasher, but thought it was the dishwasher itself. We rarely use our upstairs toilets except when we have company and I noticed that we had hard water stains in the toilet bowl that were really unsightly. I suppose the water had one of those running drips going, even though there was no toilet running sound. Anyway, I'd tried scrubbing bubbles, lime away, scouring powder, scouring pads, Kaboom and a little bit of everything. Nothing worked to completely remove the stains. I would say about a 50% improvement in the stains with ALL these products. I was at the point of thinking I would have to replace the toilet because it looked so gross (a clean bathroom is one of my pet peeves).
I happened to be at one of the big hardware stores (it's name starts with an L) and saw this product. It claimed to clean hard water stains and be safe on porcelain and ceramic. I thought I would give it a try since it was less than $3. My surprise was that it cleaned the hard water stains with just a little bit of scrubbing power. The "pumice"-like stone does "melt" as you use it, but it took away ALL the stains and the toilet looks like new. I plan on stocking up on this product....just in case. It was very easy to use and worked well.
Definitely recommend this product.
