I ordered this as a replacement. The first one I dropped, causing a kitchen version of the exxon valdez in my sink. Originally, I registered for this cruet at Crate and Barrel and it was twice the price (ironically same brand). I LOVED it. It was elegant and delicate, a perfect gift for a discerning epicure. The simple organic shape of the twin vessel is what makes this cruet so special; the unique way the vinegar and oil appear as one through the glass is absolutely stunning. I searched high and low to replace my original and I was thrilled to find it on amazon for half the price--so I bought two. I use this cruet everyday. It is fragile because it is hand blown but for half the price buy two, you won't be disappointed.

Inner chamber used for storage of vinegar, outer chamber for storage of oil. Comes complete with cork stoppers. Perfectly balanced for ease of use. Non drip pouring. Crafted from handmade blown glass, the 10-1/2-inch tall drizzler features a teardrop-shaped design with twin reservoirs, offering a unique style to the table. The inner compartment accommodates 1 ounce of vinegar, while the larger area has the ability to hold 8-1/2 ounces of olive oil. Two airtight cork stoppers snugly fit into the two necks that curve and protrude from this dual drizzler. The ideal accessory for the table, guests will be delighted to be able to dress their own salad and vegetables and control the amount of oil and vinegar in which to dip their bread.
