Customer Review: Spat-u-tastic!

I originally purchased this Trudeau spatula months ago for baking. However, it quickly became a go-to tool for cooking anything in the kitchen due to my obsessive habit of scooping every tidbit of sauce, dressing, batter, or viscous, edible substance (come on, I can't be the only one). To this end, this spatula almost does a better job than trying to lick a work bowl or pot clean, and so now I only have to lick the spatula clean, which my clean face really appreciates.
Beyond executing it's intended function (spatulizing sauces and batters), there are so many reasons I use this Trudeau daily. The one piece construction is super-solid; push, scoop, stir, shovel, press, whatever, the handle doesn't give. And since it's silicone, it won't desiccate, become brittle, and leave nasty pieces of rubber tire in the batter like my mom's old rubber spatulas.
Silicone, again, takes the heat, so I often use it to stir sauces. Why not use a regular spoon? Sometimes I do, but to my favorite point, this spatula is so extremely easy to clean, I often just rinse it under very hot water (usually preceded by a good clean licking) and dry it off.
For those concerned that the width is too small, this hasn't been much issue for me. I often use the side of the spoon, so that the longer length of the spoon is scraping the yummy goodness off the bowl. If that's still not enough to convince you of this spat's worthiness, you could go look at Trudeau's larger spatulas; I'd hope that they all could be this Spat-u-tastic.
(Oh yeah, mine was teal instead of blue, as well--it's a spat, it could be fluorescent pink for all I care.)
