Customer Review: Gorgeous, Solid Bowls but Not Really 'Non-Skid'

I've used these bowls several times now and these are my observations so far--
The Positive:
-The Bowls are gorgeous. They are definitely the most attractive mixing bowls I've ever purchased. They are brightly colored outside and white inside. Not sure how the white coating was put in but it doesn't show scratches at all. A+ for appearance definitely.
- Microwaveable!
- Good, useful sizes
- The bowls are plastic, but they are very sturdy feeling and the plastic is thick. It also has a nice handle and spout for pouring.
The problems:
-- The biggest problem for me is that it's not that 'non-skid'. I've had mixing bowls that have some sort of suction on the bottom so that when you're mixing it's stuck on the counter very firmly. These have non-skid patches on the bottom so they're not sliding all over the place like say a glass bowl. But it doesn't have the heavy-duty non-skid that I was looking for. That was one of the main features I was looking for in a mixing bowl.
Basically, these bowls have some nice innovations (the white, scratch-free coating inside, an extra deep pocket so that you can tilt the bowl forward and still mix very effectively) so if the non-skid isn't a huge deal for you, I would definitely recommend these. If non-skid is a main feature you're looking for, I would suggest getting another bowl because there are bowls with much more effective non-skid on the market.
