Customer Review: Really solid product in plastic cups

Trudeau is by far the most solid plastic measuring tools I have purchased. I own the measuring spoons and cups. The plastic is really thick and heavy; VERY smooth edges and lines everywhere on the cup and great feel to the hand ---- easy to clean and can resist chip and crack. If you are not looking for bright colors, soft cups, fancy shapes or rubber handles, you can feel safe with this product for delivering basic measuring function.
I personally believe it is a better quality plastics than KitchenAid or Cuisineart. It is also an alternative to stainless steel cups for people who want durable products but don't like the weight and coldness of stainless steel. (by the way, what's wrong with most stainless cups in the market? the handles are not well polished and they cut my hand like a dinner knife!)
I put Trudeau spoons and cups directly in hot water to melt butter, and they will not melt or wrinkle. You know plastics can degrade pretty badly with time, but these ones should outlast most of its competitors. And for under $5? Go get it.
