Made by the Amish from solid maple, the two squat forks, shaped a bit like bear claws, are lightly finished with mineral oil to prevent dryness. They won't stain or absorb odors, and their sturdy construction promises durability. You'll particularly like this set for serving pasta, if you've missed the plate a few times with the traditional fork-and-spoon method. These utensils are designed for maximum control and less spillage--perfect for the uncoordinated. For serving salads, the set works best on the lightly dressed, so you may want to add dressing after serving.
