I bought this so I didn't have to buy ice pops for my 22 month-old son. They stand up fine in the holder. They're not particularly hard to get out of the form. I do need to wet the outside of the mold to get them out though. They freeze slowly (about 6-8 hours)in my freezer. My only real problem is that they're too big for him. I need to find a smaller form. Other than that they're great.Customer Review: Messy Pops

I was excited to buy these molds because they got such wonderful reviews, but I find that they are kind of difficult to eat, or maybe I haven't figured out how much to fill them yet...Anyway half of the pop drips uncontrollably onto the shirt of whoever eats them...Otherwise I like the way you can freeze them individually, and the shape is visually appealing, but I'm definitely not thrilled.Customer Review: great ice pops

We love these. My daughters love their ice lollipops and I like being able to give them a treat where I can control the ingredients. I water down 100% juice (using flavoured sparkling water gives a little zing), also use stoneyfield smoothie yoghurt drinks diluted with a little milk for a yummy frozen yoghurt treat. i was worried that only the handle will pop out after the mold is set. as long as the content is completely frozen, the mold will slide out after running hot water over it for several seconds. it's kinda hard to eat the last bite since the plastic holder/cap gets in the way, but that's expected. if you want to make your own healthier popsicles, i highly recommend this item.Customer Review: So cute, but hard to clean/open

Great product! Sturdy base holds pops firmly in place. Unfortunately, the cute shooting star shape makes it hard to clean. I recommend a soft-sponge baby bottle cleaner. Also, if you fill the tubes all the way to the top and put the lid on tight you have to wait 2 minutes to get the popsicle out once frozen. A child will probably not be able to open it by themselves.
