If you want an ice cube tray that more easily makes ice cubes that do not disintegrate into shards, this is not for you. These require more effort. But you can be rewarded with beautiful perfect cubes of ice for a bit more effort.
The other half of the equation is to boil your water (preferably filtered), cool, boil and cool again, and then fill your trays. You will be rewarded with crystal clear perfectly cubed ice!
These trays are for someone who has poured a nice scotch into a nice crystal glass filled with half-moon ice maker ice or shards from a typical ice cube tray and realized that this is simply not right.
