I love these Pop Molds! My 18 month old has recently taken a HUGE liking to eating popsicles.. I came across a book on here called 'Pops!' and needed to find some molds to fill up! I figured these cone ones would be easy for my son to hold and I was right. I haven't made any ice/water based pops in them yet, but I don't think I would be disappointed. I make smoothies every single morning for my Husband, 8yr old and 18mo old and I always have some leftover that I have to pour out. I just fill these molds with them and they work out PERFECTLY! If at any point it starts to drip, it drips into the cone. When they are completely frozen and ready to be eaten, I run the clear mold section under warm water for a few seconds for an easy release. The spiral one needs a little wiggling and then will pop off.. the other one which is like rings is easier because you can just twist it and then pop it off.
I read from the 3 star reviewer that it was hard to get the cone to stay on the mold after it's filled? I don't really understand that. You fill it, stick the cone in and it kind of just snaps in. It's not loose and can't fall out. I could hold the whole thing upside down without being afraid it will all come spilling down.
I just really love these things! If anyone has any questions or doubt I'd be happy to hear from you!
