Kitchen and Housewares Reviews of Tovolo Blue Rocket Pops, Set of 6Customer Review: 4.5 stars - glad I bought these. Summary: 5 Stars
These are the best Popsicle molds I have ever tried.
Our favorite treat so far has been frozen v8 Fusion Strawberry Banana - I couldn't believe how many popsicles we could make with just one container of juice.
It is a huge savings over store bought popsicles.
The only drawbacks which would make me take half a star are that they are difficult to remove from the mold, and the drip catcher is not that effective, so we have to hold a paper towel around it to avoid a mess.
I would definitely recommend these as a fun, healthy, inexpensive and better tasting alternative to store bought.
Customer Review: Makes great healthy treats! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought these for my son and we both love them We use them constantly. As soon as a few come out of the dishwasher I fill them back up and put them in the freezer. Not only can I fill them with healthy juice blends (ones that even have carrot!) but they save money since we don't have to buy popsicles at the store -- and they are environmentally friendly -- no more cardboard pop boxes or wrappers - ever!
They're also great when my son has a scratchy throat due to a cold -- I can give him one of these to ease the pain and know he's getting a healthy dose of vitamin C - not sugar!
Customer Review: Is It Just Me? I can't get the sticks to stay in! Summary: 4 Stars
First off - the idea of these is great. They are sturdy, compact, and a neat design that the boys love.
When I make popsicles out of juice or fruit, all is well. They do drip outside the holder at the bottom, even for the neatest eaters, so outside is the trick. But that's just fine.
My only challenge so far has been making ice cream pops. We make our own ice cream and I want to freeze it into popsicles. But I have not been able to get the ice cream to come out of the mold on the stick, no matter how long I leave it in the freezer. Any suggestions?

Customer Review: Cute but they do drip Summary: 3 Stars
Maybe I am doing something wrong, but if you leave the 1/2 inch headspace they recommend to allow for liquid expansion during freezing, you end up with a popsicle whose base is 1/2 inch above the drip guard. So the drip guard does no good except for catching a stray drip now and then. But otherwise, eating these popsicles are very messy. Ruined shirt and pants with frozen grape juice and now we only use these popsicles when they are wrapped in paper towels while eating.
If I'm doing something wrong, someone please tell me so I can use them without all the paper towels.
Customer Review: These are ok but not spectacular Summary: 3 Stars
In all fairness to this product, I have yet to encounter a fantastic Popsicle mold. However, just like other reviewers have noticed, the anti-drip mechanism guarantees that you will inadvertently dump a puddle of melted Popsicle on your shirt while eating them, and it's hard to open them without running them under hot water for a while, which just adds to the melti-ness. Also, the rocket shape isn't really ideal for consuming them, as the width makes it tough to get to the bottom half. Finally, they take up a lot of space in the freezer. I am underwhelmed.
