I was rather disappointed in the warmer. Totes is a brand name and the plate does not get as hot as one that I have by Sallon and was a comparable price. I went to Amazon as I was having a problem finding this item in stores even as the holidays approached. I have one for my desk at home, but I wanted one for work. This keeps your beverage tepid at best, but not very warm. I cannot recommend this product.
