Customer Review: Fast boil, great design, sketchy "anti-scale filter"
Summary: 4 Stars
Boils very fast, about 45 seconds for a couple cups of cocoa or tea. Love the design because inside the pot, there is NO heating element or coil that can be seen, just a nice flat bottom and sides. (Our other kettle from a different company has a coil/heating element inside the kettle that prevents me from giving the inside a good cleaning.) No danger of electric shock or electric problems when pot is not on its stand. Easy to wipe clean. Only problem is that the "anti-scale filter," which fits in the spout, does not fit well on my kettle, although it's fine on my friend's kettle. When I tried to wash the scale filter, it fell apart (it's a screen over a plastic frame)--result: now pot does not shut itself off when it boils. Can't find another scale filter, have to buy another whole kettle. So this could have been designed better, or include an extra one with the product! But will get same kettle again despite this small unhappiness.
