I bought this because it was on sale for $5.99 and I figured how can you go wrong? It turns out to be a pretty cool gadget We've never had a waffle maker before, and my wife would occassionally make pancakes but maybe once every 2 or 3 months. She's made waffles 4 times in the past couple of weeks since we got this. It's not like your normal waffle makers; it makes thinner waffles than you'd expect. But it works well, the waffles are tasty, and they don't stick. I'm looking forward to trying other mixes and trying something with ice cream, or getting some chocolate waffle mix to try! One of the best gadgets I've bought from Amazon!!!

This waffle maker produces one round 7-inch wavy waffle that slips easily off the nonstick cooking grid. Dual indicator lights signal when to add batter and when cooking is done, turning out perfect waffles every time. Roll and fill the waffles with sweetened ricotta cheese for cannolis, or layer with ice cream and slice for a frozen dessert. When cornmeal batter is used, tostadas can be made and topped with refried beans, cheese, and salsa. Recipes for tostadas, gingerbread waffles, Swedish cookies, dessert roll ups, and more are included in the user guide.
