I bought a large sidekick snack can from Whole Foods for a dollar less than the price here. The can is sturdy and made in India of a substantial, heavier-weight stainless steel. The edges on ours are not sharp, and the lid fits well, easy enough for young children to remove but snug enough not to fall open. I add a bento band or even rubberband for more security. The can holds a decent-sized snack, like maybe a clementine, small cheese wheel, and some crackers. It doesn't retain odors or stains so it would be good for a snack of a non-oily pasta salad or a full-sized onigiri. I've dropped the can on a linoleum floor, thankfully not hitting any toes, and it's still in tip-top shape. A recommended item!
