Customer Review: Incredible Mug, out performs advertised ratings.

First, I must say, my first mug arrived with the broken handle. I completed the return form for Amazon and they had me the replacement to my house the next day.
Now, for the mug itself, it's very sturdy, feels and looks high quality. Not sure if the replacement mug still has the easily breakable hollow handle, or if they changed the design a bit because the handle feels very solid now. I enjoy drinking coffee from this mug, it has a good rim, I've had other mugs that were almost impossible to drink from without getting drips. The stainless interior makes coffee taste great.
Now, as for keeping drinks warm or cold, it's simply awesome. I noticed when I first used the mug, coffee almost seems to get hotter the longer it sat in mug as opposed to my last mug which left the last few sips cold. Being my normally geeky self, I decided to put it to the test. I filled the mug with ice and water, closed the lid, laid the thermos on it's side in my 71 degree kitchen. 20 hours later, it had not leaked a single drop and the ice was still 75% intact. The tag that came with it said it keeps drinks cold for 9 hours. I also had to see how long it kept things hot. I filled it with hot tap water, placed in fridge for 5 1/2 hours and the water was still amazingly warm when I took it out.
In all, I am very impressed by this mug. Don't let the broken handle problem scare you away, it's super easy to return to amazon and it has a 5 year factory warranty. The price is right for this quality mug. It earned it's 5 star rating for me.
