Customer Review: Great Gag Gift, but where did the reviews that warned of the face squirt go?

What the heck?! The first time that I used this I was abruptly reminded that there was one thermos product that many reviews warned of getting squirted in the face every time that you open it, but I had read those a few months back. So I ran right back here to see how I could have ordered something with such bad reviews - had my "one click ordering" gotten so out of control that I got confused during a late night click fest?!
But no - no such reviews here - so what gives Amazon?
I guess that if you are running on a hot summer day, you might appreciate that cool blast of water in your face before you take a sip, but really I do not appreciate having my makeup washed off as I sit at my desk!
Maybe if you have really long arms, the water might only land on your papers, or your keyboard, but my arms are not long enough to hold it far enough away to avoid the face splash.
I even recall that one of the vanishing reviews said that you could avoid the face splash if after taking a drink you waited a few moments for the fluid to drain out of the straw before closing, so I tried that, but to no avail, and finally gave up on this absurd thing.
Amazon - you really broke a sacred trust here - now I'll never trust anything on this site that has only a few reviews!
