Keeping my son hydrated while he sweats his way through 3 paper routes was our goal. This briefcase size thermos is a smaller than I thought it would be but keeps his water cold,is sturdy and looks great.
If I were to do it over again, I'd buy the larger size. This really is made for coffee not quantities of water. We don't buy plastic bottled water but have an Aquafina filter, thus eliminating plastic polution and waste. Bottles like this are perfect to carry with you in your car. Our eventual goal is for me to use this bottle and buy the larger one for my son.

My husband had a Thermos his Dad had used for years. When it broke he was heartbroken. One of the items I purchased for his birthday was this Nissan Thermos. I read your other reviews and thought this might be a good fit.
We are amazed at the heat retaining power this has. We don't use it a great deal but in a test run today the coffee stayed hot for over 8 hours!
AMAZING! It's sleek design and unbreakable inner liner also is worthy.
I am totally pleased with it. A great buy and can't wait to try something cold in it.

This thermos bottle appears very well constructed, mine's made in China & not Maylasia unlike another reviewer's. It's very tall but still fits in a standard backpack. It's leak proof & does what Nissan Thermos claims: keeps liquid hot & cold for 24 hours. I tested it by filling it with boiling water, capped it tightly, after 12 hours the water is still very steamy hot, & after 24 hours it's still hot but no steam noted. The instructions say it must be hand washed, & no carbonated beverages. Though not specified, I guess also no freezer. Very happy w/ bottle.Customer Review: Great product and supplier

I am a big fan of this thermos. It's lighter weight than expected and supposedly break-proof. It came on time and well packaged. With a lifetime guarantee from a name brand manufacturer, I feel it is a good value though at first I thought the price a bit high. Only thing is it really is just for beverages and I'm mostly sticking to clear as you would need a long brush or cloth to get inside as it is too narrow for my slender hands to go to the bottom. The top pours well without spilling / dripping and you don't have to unscrew it completely which is nice.Customer Review: Very Nice

I originally ordered the 26 ounce version of this Thermos, but I returned it and ordered this 34 ounce version. Both are very nice, solid items. The 34 ounce is a bit larger than the 26 ounce, it's slightly wider and taller. It keeps my tea piping hot all day. I replaced an old Thermos antique glass type bottle. The screw-in stopper is solid one piece plastic, when loosened (but not entirely removed) channels open up that allow the liquids to pour out - a simple but effective design. I'm very happy with this product, it seems like it will last a long time.
