Customer Review: Cute, Convenient, Not So Hot

I am a coffee nut. I grind my own and prepare it in a Chemex. This thermos is for taking a few cups to my in-home office. It is cute, convenient but does not keep the coffee hot very long.
* Easy to clean with its wide opening.
* The cap comes completely apart for cleaning.
* Very easy to pour from without a drip.
* Keeps coffee hot about 2 hours. After that it is luke warm.
I even pour boiling water in the thermos before adding very hot coffee (195 degrees) but it will not keep the coffee hot very long, especially after I have drunk 1 cup from it. Most of the time it works OK for me because I drink coffee quickly. I have a Alladin camping thermos which is relatively ugly and not nearly as convenient but will keep coffee hot 2 or 3 times longer.
