Really liked this mug over similar models! I preferred this over the non-spill models because those models with the fancy sealing tops have all kinds of hidden parts to seal the liquid in and are hard to clean and get gross! Flip top on this mug latches shut and you can carry drinks around without the liquid sloshing out. You won't be able to throw it in a bag or tip it over though, if that's what you're looking for. Keeps drinks cold for a very long time, great on a hot summer day. Keeps drinks hot for a fairly long time, though not as long as it will keep drinks cold. Heat retention is fine except for going outside on really cold days in winter, then the liquid doesn't seem to stay as hot as long as I'd like. I like the larger size too. Otherwise a great tumbler, I ended up getting 2!
