And I've had a lot of water bottles over the years.
So far, this comes close to being a perfect water bottle for me:
- One handed operation for both open and close
- It doesn't appear to leak when tossed around (my one handed Nalgene "On the go" bottle would leak with some frequency)
- Vacuum insulation keeps the water cold
- Attached cap, so nothing to misplace when open
- Fits in any cup holder I have
- Nice rubber grip to hold when drinking
- Opening wide enough for ice cubes and easy cleaning
- BPA free (of course- it's stainless steel)
- Seems well made
Minor quibbles:
- A loop of some sort would be nice so I could hold it with one finger while lugging multiple things around. The 26 oz version does have this, but it also doesn't have the one handed opening capability of this 18 oz'er.
- Maybe a no-slip rubber bottom
- 18 oz. isn't much compared to some other bottles, but that's sort of what you get in this size if you want the vacuum insulation. No big deal to me.
I haven't had it very long, so as long as it holds up on the durability front, it should be a great water bottle.
