This is my second Thermos Nissan 16 Ounce Stainless Steel Backpack Bottle. I liked the first one so much I got a second. I have a 16-ounce Zojirushi regular (not intended to serve as a mug) bottle and it cannot keep coffee hot anywhere near as long as these Thermos Nissan bottles do. I use the new one as my office water bottle; it is a vast improvement over the plastic water bottle I had been using. Some leak-proof bottles require two hands to operate, but this top is spring-loaded and operates very easily with only one hand. I have never had a leak with either one.Customer Review: Best Travel Mug Ever!

I bought this for my husband and it is amazing. We poured our coffee at the same time into travel mugs, his into this one and mine into another brand. When my coffee was lukewarm, his was still piping hot. And it stayed hot for about 8 hours. I then had to buy myself one! I would highly recommend this. Except be careful if you are putting boiling water (say for tea) in here, because you can easily burn yourself because it takes a long time to cool down. Oh, also, there are no spills, so you can throw it into your backpack or purse and it won't leak.Customer Review: Wonderful thermos!

This is a great thermos! Like a few others, I thought it was leaking at first, but then realized that I overfilled it as many people had commented. Then I laughed at myself and I have not had a problem since. This is a great size if you are planning to refill it at work or somewhere else. It says liquid will stay cold for 12 hrs, but if you put a lot of ice in it, it stays cold for about 24 hrs. Great for my long commutes...Customer Review: Awesome product

I've been using Nissan Thermos bottles for over 10 years. I've given them as gifts to all my friends. Rarely do I find a product I am totally thrilled with. I carry this thermos with me 24/7. It keeps ice for hours sitting in the Florida sun and coffee warm in Michigan winters.
The only way I've found to damage it is by twisting the cap with the flip top open. Then it still works as well as most other brands.

I love this Thermos bottle. It keeps my coffee hot all day. I have not tried a cold drink yet, but if it works as well for cold it will be my constant companion year round. I also like the fact that you can lock the lid down in case the release button gets pushed accidentally. The only drawback is that it does not fit under my Keurig machine so I have to brew my coffee in another cup and then pour into the Thermos.
