Customer Review: Could be great, but ends up just OK
Summary: 3 Stars
Pros: it will keep your drinks warm for hours even without preheating; will also keep your drinks inside the mug as long as you don't turn it horizontal. This mug is not totally leakproof so don't expect it to be. It really isn't too hard to clean, but I wouldn't put it in the dishwasher.
Cons: It retains smells like crazy and they won't come out. Coffee flavored tea anyone? The white gasket inside does collect gunk and is responsable for the smell. The cap, while ok, could be designed a lot better and feels cheap and plasticy.
If you want a mug that keeps your drink warm for a few hours and aren't afraid of cleaning it out by hand every time you use it, then this should work fine. Don't expect much else though.

Virtually unbreakable, this lightweight, vacuum-insulated thermos travels to work or your favorite recreation spot. On arrival, and for hours afterward, coffee, tea, or soup will still be hot. Or lemonade, pasta salad, or a sports drink will still be chilled. Compact (7-1/2 inches high) and elegant, the thermos has a tapered, satin-finish exterior and tough, nonslip, black plastic top, bottom, and L-shaped handle. Fine threading ensures the twist top seals tightly, and a fliptop (adaptable to righthanders and lefthanders) opens the sip-hole and closes to prevent spills.
