Customer Review: Excellent Insulation, Massive Bottle.

Just to confirm other reviewers' opinions of this excellent water bottle, I can safely say that this steel-clad wonder from Thermos is truly an example of sturdy construction and no frills convenience converging to create a product a company can truly be proud of. 26 ounces holds a pretty good amount of water, actually--I had ordered another bottle from the same company, the Drink Green model, which has similar insulating abilities, but at just 18 ounces, it's just not suitable for a full day's worth of chilled water/juice. Just to confirm how long this water bottle keeps things chilled: I went on a trip to New York City from a good bit upstate the Saturday before last, having filled my bottle with water at around 7 am just to be ready. Fast forward to about 3:30 in the afternoon and my friend remarks at the strange clanging sounds coming from my backpack. I whip out the bottle, and BANG! Still filled with ice that had only melted about halfway since that morning. Mind you, the temperature was in the low to mid eighties for most of the day. If that's not a testament for this bottle's capacity to keep drinks at the temperature you want them at, then I really don't know what else I could use to sway you. A no holds barred climb up Mount Everest with a cup of hot java at the summit, perhaps?
One small con: the opening for the bottle's top is SMALL. It might be too small to get a comfortable drink out of. But in that case, just unscrew the top off completely and chug. Also, the black patterning is NOT rubberized, but simply painted on decals, so be aware.
