This is an amazing thermos. I have made tea to take to work and completely forgotten about it until 24 hours later and it's still warm enough to enjoy. Just a little cooler than optimal cool-enough-to-drink temperature.
I wonder if perhaps the people who say it doesn't keep it warm for long are using it wrong? First, you should fill it with warm water before putting your beverage in there. I'll run the water into the teapot while the tap warms up, then keep the hot water in there as long as it takes the tea to boil. I've noticed a difference in the temperature when I don't do that. Second, you don't completely unscrew the top to pour. It has pour spout thingies. You unscrew it a little bit and your beverage pours out of a little notch in the cap. Your beverage will get cold pretty fast if you take the top off every time you are pouring it.
Other information- it is kind of big to hold in your hand, no handle or anything and its so smooth you can't exactly get a grip. The lid is a cup. I personally would not put it in my briefcase with my computer... I think it probably would hold up fine, but there is a chance for user error; the lid might have a little liquid in it still, I might not have resealed the top all the way (and it looks screwed in even if it's not all the way).
