Great collectible. I bought this for my son as a collectors item, so I am sure it will never be used. It appears to be made well.The only thing I didn't like, was the packaging it came in had no cellophane in front.But not a big deal if you aren't a collector. I got this for my 81-year old mother along with a box of English walnuts for my (B-24 pilot) dad, as a gag gift for Christmas. They are passing them around at their WWII veteran reunion groups. This nutcracker really works and is a great hit at the office. It was up for auction at the Republican Women's Christmas Party and was sold for over $80. I bought this for a Christmas gift. For a nutcracker, it wasn't exactly cheap. It got the laughs I had hoped for, but was broken simply by doing its job by mid-January. But I guess that's Hillary for ya?...expensive and promising, but can't deliver -very disappointing.
