Customer Review: Great statue, great price

I must say, this is a beautiful, well made statue of Christ. We've enjoyed owning it very much. Amazon sold it for less than half the price of the same statue (same dimensions, same manufacturer) as at other stores (this product is mostly sold at specialty religious stores so we were frankly surprised to see if on Amazon).
The statue is heavy - probably about 10 pounds, and it arrived well packed and undamaged.
It's been a centerpiece in our home for quite some time now. We've received many compliments on it.
By the way, the statue looks white or light gray from a distance. Up close, it looks like it was molded from a marble or stone resin. This is not a carved statue. But hey, what do you expect for the price? A carved statue would cost many times more.

This is an honest reproduction of the Christ Statue by Bertel Thorwaldsen, a 17th Century Danish Neoclassical sculptor.
