My husband purchased this scale for me for Mother's Day in May. It worked great (used 3-4 times a week). I like the fact that I can put any bowl on it, zero out the weight, then sift flour right into the bowl. Sometimes, however, I felt that the surface was a little small for the mixing bowl (it was difficult to see the weight reading).
I was very pleased until about a month ago when the display blinked, then stopped working. After realizing that the battery wasn't the problem, I contacted Terraillon since my return window had expired (it has a 10-year guarantee). They were fantastic to work with. I scanned a copy of my receipt and they immediately shipped me out a new scale. I'm hoping this next one lasts longer!
