This is NOT the original Ped Egg for Men. It's just the same Ped Egg which you can purchase at a local drug store, except this is black. The original Ped Egg for Men was black (ok that's the same as the product I received), larger, and the "blade" or planer was much sharper.
I purchased online because I can't seem to locate anymore Ped Eggs for Men in any local drug storesPedEgg Platinum Edition Pedicure Foot File or Bed Bath and Beyond. Apparently, they've been discontinued.
Very Disappointing!!!!!

I have used everything several products in an effort to remove calluses. Pumice stones, Emory Boards, Foot Softeners, & Dr. Scholl's Callus Remover and none of them have had the effectiveness of the Ped Egg. Within 10 minutes I was able to remove most of the dry cracked skin on my heels and my feet feel great! Truly the best $10 I have ever spent. I would recommend this product to anyone who has problems with dry cracked skin or heavy calluses on their feet.Customer Review: Recommend to all

I am a big fan of the Ped Egg products. I have a job where I'm walking around most of the day, and I tried all sorts of things to decrease the obvious wear on the feet without much success. This product has worked really well with making feet look nice really easily and safely. My only warning is that I would recommend to use it over a towel or tub because not 100% of the filings get caught by the case.

I was amazed that such a simple product works so well. I don't understand WHY it is so far better than pumice stones, or creams. It is cheap and so easy to use, and the only thing bad I can say about this product is that I got so enthused about its effectiveness that I "over-used" it and had a sore foot for a couple days. I am sure this is a good product for girls or Nancy boys. I am 6'4" 310lbs and wear work boots 12 hours a day working in a steel mill. This product wont touch my calluses. Not knocking it, just making sure real men with real calluses don't waste there money here. Someone needs to build a more aggressive tool. The transaction itself was smooth as it almost always is with Amazon.
