I've used the pan about a dozen times, each time has produced quality results. I use a non-stick spray (PAM), and have had no issues turning the takoyaki during cooking or removing them when finished. The size is perfect for a one cook operation as the dexterity required to turn them as they cook can take some getting used to, but overall I feel the product may be a bit pricey for what you get (the pan is smaller than you'd think).
Disclaimer: As this is the only takoyaki pan I have ever used, my 4 star rating here is to show the product meets my requirements and expectations for a takoyaki pan (I can only say it works for all my takoyaki needs, not that it is better or worse than any other similar product available).
