I have tried everything to resolve my problems with this serger.
The left needle (red) keeps snapping in half. The tension is fine, the needle is the right grade.. it keeps hitting the metal plate. This machine has left me in a tight spot, and I will purchase the brother.. which I will pay 50$ extra shipping for because I need my machine by friday.
I called their customer service, and they want me to pay for the shipping, and wait for it to be repaired. I dont have that kind of time.
I suggest, spending your money a little more wisely.

We ordered this product and it arived very fast. Delivery service was very good. That is the only good news. This product is in a word "BAD." My wife, a very good seemstress, worked with it for two day and never did get the 4 tensions set to do a good job. We took it to a sewing center and they could not figure it out either. We ended up spending a bunch more money and bought a Baby Loc. No tension buttons at all!! You can sew any weight of fabric with any thread and the surged seem is purfect. Final word, Do NOT throw your money away. Buy QUALITY.Customer Review: great machine!

I received my Sewing With Nancy SWN10 EZ Lock Serger machine within the time expected, packed safely and securely. I had never used a serger before, but, always wanted one. Soon, I had it out of the box and was learning to thread it. This is a heavy and sturdy machine. I tried it out on different fabrics, made adjustment and I really got the hang of it. I couldn't believe how user friendly this machine could be. The handbook and DVD were very helpful. I would recommend this machine to anyone that was looking for a good serger.Customer Review: Easy to start with

So far this has been fairly good to me. I was easy to use easy to set up. The only problem I've had so far is it was hard to find all the adjustments, and sometimes the stitching seems to be too wide or too long without an intuitive way to fix it. Other than that it makes quick work of seams and am waiting to wrestle with the other set ups such as the gathering stitch. The CD was very helpful to see exactly how to thread the machine. However after watching it once or twice the manual was the most helpful for reference.Customer Review: love it

This is my first serger and I was a little intimidated by the thoughts of learning to thread it etc. but this was SO E_Z just like the name implies.
Color coded guide is right there on the door and the instructional DVD answered all my questions even before I used it for the first time. I was up and serging in just a few days and feeling confident about adjusting the threads and tensions to create different looks. I love this machine and think it was a great value. Nancy Z products ROCK!
