Forget about sleeping in the same room with this noise maker. It sounds as if it might be tumbling small rocks. I bought it for use in the bedroom,
used it once, and returned it to Target.

This is a very noisy machine. Way too loud to sleep to, even on the lower setting. I'm looking for a better humidifier that is quieter.
