Amazing that a person or company that does something for a living can do it to the point of near uselessness.
But that's apparently the case here, where a butter dish designer, BY training and VOCATION, actually designed a butter dish which holds a stick of butter, yet makes it nigh impossible to use it more than once between washings.
The minute any butter gets on the outside of the glass top, and it will, you can not lift the top off the dish without getting yet more butter on both your hands and smearing it around the now slippery non-grip top.
Talk about a greased pig? A greased pig has NOTHING on this dish top.
The mfr should be embarrassed since they do this for a supposed living, but actually, I'm more embarrassed for having bought one of these moronic dishes.
