Customer Review: Watch out if you have a magnetic induction range...

We needed a small saucepan and small fry pan to use on our magnetic induction range. I also wanted a clear lid and non-stick surface. We found these at a great price and purchased the set even though we didn't need all the pieces. What a disappointment! The small saucepan did not work on the magnetic induction range even though it clearly specifies that the product is designed to do so on the box. The small frying pan only works on two of our burners. It's not the stove because our old pans of the same size still work on all burners. The larger pieces DO work on our stove.
We called T-Fal's service department and the rep didn't help much and didn't seem to know what we were talking about. They told us to ship the saucepan to the company, which we did. About two weeks later, we received a replacement saucepan, which doesn't work either. Since then we found a small Calphalon saucepan, the same size, that works fine.
For the price, this is a good set if you have a gas or electric stove top, but if you want them for a magnetic induction, don't count on them working. Don't count on customer service to resolve it either.
