I like this one just fine. The "plates" remove and are very easy to clean. The waffles do not stick and come out evenly done. (Not so with the other one I tried and it cost twice as much). I made sandwiches a couple of times...just be careful if you use cheese. I put a little too much on one and it, of course, melted and oozed all over the outside of the unit. Messy clean up... but....you're smarter than that.. good luck!!Customer Review: They Loved It!

I bought this for my son and daughter in law as one of their wedding presents. They love it and use it all the time. I asked if the sandwiches were soggy but they said no, that the bread toasts perfectly. They have not made waffles yet, they are too busy thinking up new sandwiches to make (so far roast beef and cheddar cheese seems to be the favorite). They rave about how wonderful it works that I am ordering one for myself now.Customer Review: works well but...

Everytyhing worked well. The removable plates were easy to take in & out. The waffles were easy to pop out - the non-stick surface worked great. However, it really did take at least 4 minutes per batch of waffles. You would need to start early if you wanted to make enough waffles for a large family breakfast. That seems to be the main problem with this unit. I haven't used the sandwich plates yet so I can't comment on that.Customer Review: the best i've tried

I have one of this T-Fal sandwich/waffle maker from almost 3 years. It is still nonstick and in v.good condition.I use it very often to make waffle or sandwich. Easy to clean b/c of its removable parts. I've bought this product to my sister's household b/c she wasn't content of those maker what she tryed from other companies (scratchable,easy to stick, from one the t-fllon layer came off after first use).Customer Review: Great for a single, college student or a couple

This is a great sandwich and waffle maker for a couple or a single person since it only makes two at a time. This is fine for my house but may not be for yours. The plates are non-stick and dishwasher safe but the best thing about them is that they pop out with the touch of a button and snap back in easily. We received this for a wedding gift and have used it at least 3 times a week ever since.
