I bought this model about 4 or 5 years ago for our bed & breakfast inn and it has worked beautifully until recently. The center burners have lost their radiant abilities so that only one side of the toast gets browned so that when one side is done I have to flip the bread around. It's too bad because I usually have to make about 16 to 20 slices at a time at least once or twice a week. I'd say that considering we take it out of the pantry and put it back after each use and hence bang it around a lot, that we've gotten our money's worth and I will probably purchase this same model. I should also state that my kids, aged 10, 15, 17 have used it for themselves often as well and they abuse it like any kids will, ex.: pushing the buttons down too hard, jamming bagles too big, not emptying the crumb tray, general mishandling.
