When I make Spagetti Sauce I cook it for about 8 hours. This is the first pan that I have ever used that you didn't have to stir the sauce every 1/2 hour to keep it from sticking and burning, I don't think I would have had to stir the sauce at all in this Pot and and it wouldn't have burned for the whole 8 hrs. This first pot of sauce, I forgot the initial med heat turn down to get the sauce simmering, and when I came back to turn it down it was boiling furiously, but it hadn't even come close to sticking, any other pan I have ever used would have been seriously burned at that point. In My 35 years of making spagetti sauce no other pan has even come close to the non-stickyness of this Pot. It's the BEST.

Swiss Diamond 8.5 quart covered stock pot features a revolutionary non-stick surface using diamond crystals to form a virtually indestructible non-stick cooking surface. The user will be able to cook soups and stews to perfection. The non-stick surface will not peel, crack, or blister and provides perfect heat distribution. The stockpot is made from a 6mm thick pressure cast aluminum which has a perfectly flat base for use on all ceramic, gas, and electric cook tops. The stay cool handles are safe to use in an oven up to 500F. Metal utensils are safe for use on the non-stick surface and the pan is safe for use in the dishwasher. The inside depth of this covered stockpot is 5.9". The tempered see through glass lid features a handle that also is a vent for venting steam while cooking.
