I tried EVERY other product on the market to save a ruined personalized towel. (I had washed the towel with a poor quality towel, which shed all over the entire GOOD towel).
This stone got every last speck of lint off of the towel, and it now looks brand new. I am so grateful, as this was a very sentimental gift.

I had never heard of a Sweater Stone, but this thing really works! There is no chance of harming the fabric. The lint and bits of stone that are left, need to be vacuumed or shook out, and you are done.
The odor that has been mentioned, is a sulfur-like smell. I only smelled it during use, and only slightly.

I found the Sweater Stone to work well for removing pills from my wool sweaters. I was hesitant to buy one of the shavers after hearing stories about holes in garments. The Sweater Stone is gentle on my good sweaters, and it's easy to remove the pills. I didn't find it messy at all. It works exactly as described.Customer Review: Didn't work for me

I don't know if I didn't use it correctly but it seemed like it snagged the fabric of my sweater more than it removed the pills. I followed the suggestions in other reviews (to wear the sweater or to put it on something hard) but there are still a ton of pills. I got more pills off using a razor.Customer Review: works great

I bought it not expecting much, and it turned out to be fabulous. I've pulled several cashmere sweaters back out of my clothes that were going Goodwill since I got this. Doesn't only remove pills--removes the general fuzziness cashmere gets after a couple years. I absolutely love it.
