These Sweater Stones are great. They don't eat holes in your clothes, they're never out of batteries, and they are extremely effective. I use one on my wool coat to take off the pills and dog hair and it works great. They last a long time. The only negative thing about them is that they give off a sulfur smell when you use them, but it dissipates quickly with no residual smell.Customer Review: Works great--if you have a lint roller too

At first I thought it didn't work well at all, then I realized that the sweater stone was actually disconnecting the pillings, but just leaving them there. So I grabbed a lint roller to pick up the pillings and it worked great. It works on fleece jackets--which is what I needed it for. This stone is made of a special type of pumice that gently pulls the pills off of fabric without damaging it. I gave them out for stocking stuffers and everyone loves them. They are very practical and will save you money on your clothing budget. We have found 2nd hand clothes that look 100% after the de-pilling treatment. You will absolutely love this product! It does just exactly what you need it to -- remove the pills from those cashmere sweaters! It is great -- you will not need anything else. I was very skeptical when I read that it makes sweaters look 'like new.' But it's true! In my opinion, sweater shavers just don't work at all. This thing is incredible, but the only drawback is the little black crumbs it makes in the process. The results are worth the small hastle of having to shake out the crumbs after I'm done.
