Customer Review: Durable, tight fitting lids, but WAY too HOT PINK!

I've had these about 6 months or more now and have been satisfied with their durability and tight fitting lids but have only used them for cold storage as I no longer trust any plastics in the microwave, no matter if they say "safe" or not. I prefer glass for microwaving leftovers, etc. anyway.
When these arrived I was a bit disappointed as to their color as they are really, really hot pink, a loud tacky sort of shade and not as soft in color as I would have liked, ( about 12 shades brighter than some Cuisanart prep bowls I own ) especially the lids, which look like something a kid would love as to color. However, once I saw how well the lids fit and never leak or allow air to get into the food when it's stored in either fridge or freezer, I figured they were still worth the price since there were so many pieces and I wouldn't have to care much if someone taking leftovers home from a meal at my apartment failed to bring them back to me.
The lids are a little difficult to open but I've gotten the hang of it by now, so they work for me. My only real complaint, other than the tacky shade of pink, is that there are just too many of the tiny sizes and not enough medium ones. The tiny ones are only suitable for storing a sliced or whole small onion or tomato or perhaps diced veggies. Don't bother trying to put more than a small serving of anything else in them as it won't fit. The manufacturer should have taken out a few of the smallest ones ( I think there were about 6 )and instead included a couple more medium sized.
