There is no doubt this is the easiest peeler I've ever used and the clean up is fantastic! The only complaint I have is the device doesn't always peel every apple - odd shaped apples such as Fuji are hit and miss depending on their shape and forget about peeling potatoes with this peeler! I continue to use this device as, when it works, peels 3 pounds of apples in less than 5 minutes which is amazing! But...you get what you pay for.Customer Review: Fantastic

Just opened my box from Amazon, took 30 seconds to set up and peeled about 25 apples in under 15 minutes (would have gone faster, but my 5-year-old insisted on helping; she was able to work it perfectly). Now, I have a big batch of Washington State Golden Delicious apples simmering for fresh applesauce, which we'll be eating in under an hour.
I used all kinds of sizes and shapes of apples, and this thing was foolproof.

my husband is a longtime baker who's hands are starting to give out after years of peeling apples for our famous apple pies. This year he broke down and bought a peeler. He's tried several, but heard good things about this one. I bought this because my daughter had one and I used it at her house. I usually hate peeling apples. .. it's time consuming, you get too much flesh in it and it makes a mess.
With this little gadget, it takes about 3 seconds, and the peel comes off in one piece.
Very convenient and kind of cute, too.
I'd recommend it to everyone who likes apples, likes to make apple pies, and hates to peel.

I like this peeler. It's very easy to put together and use. It's actually kind of fun to see it peel the apples and it's definitely fast. It doesn't do the coring and slicing but the core slicer tool that comes with it does an OK job of that. If you are making a pie, you still need to slice the apples thinner than the gadget slices them. But overall, this a great prooduct at a great price.
