I love these things. What a great way to make food more interesting for your little ones (or for yourself!). These make great little tidbits for bento boxes. I cut slices of apples and then used these cutters to make little stars, and served them with a dollop of peanut butter -- got my niece to finally eat apples! I also cut cheese stars and put them on slices of tortilla (used a larger star cookie cutter for the tortilla) and lightly toasted them to melt the cheese. So cute! If you can make mealtime fun, you might keep your child on the path to healthy eating. It's worth the effort if fruits and veggies can be made appetizing for picky eaters!
They also make interesting shapes for garnishing salads, appetizers, etc. Fairly easy to use, too. I like to use one of those rubber, flexible jar openers Rubber Grip Jar Opener by Fox Run - (Assorted Colors) in my hand for additional protection.
