Customer Review: Great for kids, no chewed straws!

I was looking for something to replace the plastic straw because I hated throwing them out all the time and I couldn't reuse them even once most times due to my daughter gnawing at the ends. These fit the bill. I've been using them for almost two years now and they look and work like new. Even though the diameter is that of a standard straw (not an extra wide size of plastic straws for milkshakes, etc.), it still works really well with thicker drinks because it's non-collapsible. Some might want to get a full-on brain freeze from a fat straw, but these give an adequate rate of flow without blocking up or failing. My kids love them for smoothies, lemonade, water, chocolate milk ... pretty much any drink I ever give them. They don't "flick" a mess like plastic when little ones take them out, and even my 18 month old doesn't spill when using one. Friends (both children and adults) always comment how great they are and where they can buy some.
