The trademark tree, seemingly decorated by young hands and ringed with brightly wrapped presents underneath, stands cheerily in the center of every piece. Charming, crafty decorations encircle the tree and Santa himself--bag slung over his shoulder--stands at the top. This shallow bowl, 3-1/4 inches deep, is 5-3/4-inches in diameter and is laced with cutouts all around the rim. Shaped somewhat like a four-leaf clover, the bowl is white with the pattern's calling-card Christmas tree design at center; other decorative elements include alternating sprigs of mistletoe and holly, while the edges are circled in a rich green border, creating a simple and vibrant holiday look. Made in England of Imperialware, Spode's high-quality earthenware, the bowl is safe for the oven, dishwasher, freezer, and microwave. Place in a cold oven and heat gradually up to 100 degrees C (about 200 F); if using the dishwasher, contact Spode for a list of recommended detergents.
