Customer Review: nice cutting board!

This is a very lovely cutting board - nice and big hardwood. We bought it to replace a kitchen cabinet insert and it would have fit beautifully had it not been that the opening allowed for 5/8 inch thickness and this board is 3/4 inches! We wound up donating it to our church kitchen. There is no need to buy the expensive oil treatment advertised for this item. Just get yourself a jar of coconut oil from the healthfood store - it never goes rancid and rub a little of this into the wood once per month to keep up the wood's natural beauty.

Carefully crafted of solid maple this is certain to appeal to any cook. Generous size of 18-Inch by 24-Inch and includes a wide and deep juick groove to help keep liquids contained. Snow River is best known for producing premium wood cutting boards that are hand finished by experienced craftsmen. The wood is dried in a tightly controlled process to ensure a consistent moisture content which is critical in avoiding wood cracks and splitting. All sawdust from production is recycled into wood pellets for pellet stoves. Reversible. 3/4-Inch thick.Cutting Boards
