I had one of these peelers that I paid about $7.00 for 2 in a package. I gave one to a friend and used mine for about 7-8 years. I peeled carrots, apples, cucumbers, potatoes, etc. It works great on any vegetable or fruit. This peeler is the best on the market! I have tried many, many different brands and none compare to this one. I recently purchased another brand for $21.00 and it won't work at all. I wish I could find this item again.
