I was under the impression that this thing, being used on wine or champagne flutes, would be much softer and collapsible than it is. It's gentle and does the job on the kinds of glasses shown in the ad, but it's very firm and isn't going to conform to glasses smaller than it is. I guess it's my own fault for assuming. I was looking for something that would get deep down into those tall V-shaped flutes. This isn't it.
