We have a ten year old who has trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. A friend of ours recommended the SleepMate, which produces "white-noise". They lent us theirs for one month. It worked just like they said it did for their child. Our son began to fall asleep, and stay asleep. We bought one. He uses it every night. Highly recommend it for children (and adults?? - maybe - not sure) who have trouble falling asleep or staying asleep.

Choose only one sound at a time. Set on a timer or on continuous sound mode. The Sleepmate Model 980 (Dual Speed) and 580A(Single Speed) machines are white noise machines.
