Description of "Simply Swank" 1/4 Inch Copper Foil Tape For Solder Craft Jewelry - 15 Feet
Simply Swank Copper Foil Tape. For Solder Projects. 1/4 Inch Wide. Acrylic Adhesive Backing. 15 Foot Spool. Solder will not adhere to glass so you need to prep the edges of your piece with Copper foil. This copper foil is designed especially for small jewelry pieces. It comes packaged in a protective spool and is easy to dispense. One side of the tape has an acrylic adhesive backing, so it will stay in place as you wrap it. This copper foil tape is 1/4 inch wide. It will easily wrap around the edge of standard width glass pieces. Not thicker pieces. Using this size will eliminate the need for trimming as it will be a perfect fit if centered properly. Once your copper tape is in place, paint flux on one edge and begin soldering. We recommend purchasing an instructional DVD to learn the proper techniques.
