Customer Review: Concerned about the color

I bought this for my mom on mother's day, because she desperately needed a new teapot. She has a blue-themed kitchen, so I thought this would be perfect.
Unfortunately, this is not the blue I was expecting. The hue previewed here on the website is very different from that on the actual teapot. Turns out the pot now attracts more attention that her older, grosser one! The live teapot has a deep, fierce blue that flirts so closely with purple it didn't fit in our kitchen. If you are looking for that color, it is a great teapot. But if your kitchen has a softer, lighter feel, look elsewhere!
