Customer Review: Not what the manufacturer says they are....

The cardboard sleeve these trays come in states: "Flexible for easy removal of ice cubes." Well, they _ARE_ flexible. It also says, "Twist tray to remove the ice." They do twist very easily but don't expect the ice cubes to pop out unless you wait a few minutes then try.
I am giving the trays 2 stars because they do not transfer any odor to the cubes or the water the cubes melt into and they will, most likely, remain stick-free all of their lives because they're silicone. If you love modern, cutesy, gimmicky things, grab these and run. If you prefer easy to fill, easy to stack, easy to release ice cube trays, look somewhere else.
They are very messy to fill unless you use the trickle-fill method and, even then, you will have a mess. They also do not stack well in the freezer, even if you try stacking them at an angle. They are soft enough that they settle down into the tray below and you end up with fused trays when the water is frozen.
Cubes are small at approximately 1" square. 4 trays of ice will fill a Rubbermaid ice cube bin just over half full. If you plan on relying on these trays for your summer ice flow,... don't.
They are cute the first time you fill them and have to pop out each individual cube with your finger. The cuteness wears off after that.
The one thing I found they are good for is making Knox Blox, a fad favorite from the 80s. And they're true blocks too.
